I’m a non-stop, super passionate, extremely forgetful, chaotic and fairly noisy, mother of three (two with ADHD and we suspect the littlest one is too, but still too little to know for sure). I’m always either hyper-focusing on work, something work related (or some random topic that will enhance my life in absolutely no way at all), solving problems, having fun (usually some lovely family time, which is my favourite kind, or releasing an atomic bomb’s worth of high energy around some poor unassuming souls, whilst filling them in on every intimate detail of my life - which of course, they didn’t request), running around like a headless chicken, trying to sort that thing that one of the kids needed for school (which I completely forgot about), or is sprawled across the sofa, scrolling through rubbish on my phone, because I just have no energy and am probably avoiding to do that really mind numbing task that has been at the top of my ‘urgent’ list for the last 3 weeks. And, I was diagnosed with ADHD when I was 34 years old, after many years of knowing I have it and never quite getting around to doing anything about it - shocker!
